O2 is a UK-based cell phone and broadband service provider. It is a part of the Telefónica O2 Europe, which comprises many integrated businesses in the UK, Germany, Ireland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Visit a local O2 store. Check the link in Resources to locate a store near you.
Buy an O2 SIM card for your particular cell phone. Along with the SIM card, specify the package you want to buy, for instance, pay-as-you-go or post pay.
Insert the SIM card into your phone. Usually, you will have to take out the battery and insert the SIM card underneath it in the SIM compartment. For iPhones, you have to use a SIM ejector tool (comes in the phone's box).
Turn on your phone, and start using it. Your phone will then be running on the O2 network.
