Hooking up external speakers to a plasma TV gives you a fuller audio experience than the flat sound that comes from your TV's native speakers. External speakers are not only higher quality sound devices than what you get with your plasma TV, they also deliver sound to your ears in a different way because the speakers are not positioned directly under the TV screen. The entire process takes five minutes and does not require any tools.
