Instructions

  1. 1

Make sure the power cord is firmly plugged into the wall. Unplug the cord from the outlet and plug it back in.

  2. 2

Make sure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the television. Point the remote directly at the TV to turn it on. Make sure the batteries in the remote are correctly installed.

  3. 3

Push the "TV" button on the remote to make sure you are operating the TV and not the VCR or DVD.

  4. 4

Install new batteries if no lights appear on the remote when you push any of the buttons.

  5. 5

Make sure the breaker associated with the TV hasn't tripped. If it has, flip the switch back over to the "On" position.
