Plug in a tape adaptor to the head phone slot on your iPod and push the tape into the tape deck. Many newer stereos will not have a tape deck. Press "Play" on the iPod, and the music will play through the stereo.
Plug the auxiliary cord into the headphone slot on your iPod and the other end into the "Aux" jack on the stereo. This is located on the face of the stereo. Set the stereo to "Aux" and press "Play" on the iPod wheel.
Push the AM/FM transmitter into the bottom of the iPod, where you plug in the charger. Set the transmitter to a station with dead air. Set the radio to the same station; press "Play" on the iPod.
