How to Disable a Built in Bluetooth in a Panasonic Toughbook

Panasonic Toughbook laptop computers come built strong for the harshest conditions. This does not mean it lacks the latest technology. Panasonic Toughbooks come with the Windows operating system and may include a built-in Bluetooth chip. Like any other Windows computer, if you do not need to use the Bluetooth, you can disable it within the operating system.

    Open the "Control Panel" in "Start" menu.

    Select "Hardware and Sound" and open "Bluetooth."

    Open the "Bluetooth Settings" and select the "Options" tab.

    Uncheck the "Turn Discovery On" option.

    Click "Apply" and "OK" to save and close the settings.
