How to Remove a Tape Player From a Mini
It is fairly easy to work on the Mini Cooper. (yellow mini cooper headlight image by MAXFX from Fotolia.com)

Featured in the 2003 film "The Italian Job," the Mini Cooper is a British-designed hatchback with a compact and stylish body design. The tape player is built into the stereo, at the Mini Cooper's centre console. In order to remove the tape player, the stereo will need to be removed before a new stereo or a CD player can be installed. Removing the Mini's stereo also requires the removal of some parts of the centre console.
