An Optoma digital projector has multiple cable connection ports. This allows you to hook up different equipment to the projector and view the video content on a projected surface. Although many of the projectors do have high definition capabilities, you can sync up an SD video device directly with standard RCA video connection.

  • Yellow RCA video cable

    Insert the yellow RCA video cable in the "Video Out" port on the television or other device from which you want to send a video signal to the Optoma projector.

    Plug the other end of the cable into the "Video In" port on the Optoma projector.

    Power on the connected equipment and the Optoma projector.

  4. 4

    Press the "Menu" option on the Optoma projector, then choose "Input." This brings up all the display options for the projector. Select "Video" and the connected video equipment's signal is displayed on the projection surface.
