For Halloween this year, if you want to go with an animal theme that's fun and unusual, dress up like a monkey. Although this is a fun choice for Halloween parties, many people select another costume because monkey masks are often heavy, quite uncomfortable, and can make breathing difficult. Instead of selecting another costume to avoid wearing a mask, paint your face like a monkey.

Things you need
- Make-up sponges
- Face paints
- Make-up brushes
Use a make-up sponge to apply deep brown paint to your face. Apply face paint from your nose toward the hairline, covering your cheeks and chin. Apply face paint underneath your chin and towards your neck. Cover your eyelids and area around your eyes with deep brown paint. Apply another layer of face paint if the first layer appears too thin.
Outline the shape of your face using a brush to apply a light shade of brown paint. This outline should go above your eyebrows in a slight C-formation, around your cheekbones, and narrow slightly as it goes down to your chin. Smudge the line with your fingertips to soften it. Dab light brown to fill in the areas inside of the outline so you get the typical monkey face.
Dab light brown paint around your nose and on your eyelids to soften these features.
Paint your entire nose with light brown paint. Paint a few thin dark brown lines on your nose to create wrinkles.
Use light brown to create a slightly circular shape around your entire mouth. Dab light brown paint to fill in this shape.
Paint long straight lines with a medium shade of brown that extend a few inches above and beneath your top and bottom lip. Apply this colour to your lips.
Apply a thin layer of beige on top of this light brown paint to create monkey lips.
Add other facial details. Add large thick bushy eyebrows around your eyebrows with the dark colour brown. Add several wrinkles to your forehead.
