The GPS feature of the Toyota Prius adds to the vehicle's fuel efficiency by informing the driver of the quickest routes to a desired destination. The GPS system runs, in part, with a DVD that provides city and street information. The DVD of the GPS is updated by replacing it with a newer version. Upgrading your system's software can improve fuel efficiency and driving time.
