Have you ever wanted luxurious, voluminous hair? If you have straight or flat hair you can easily achieve this romantic look by using jumbo hair rollers. Because of their size, jumbo hair rollers create loose waves and body rather than tight curls. Jumbo rollers can also add softness, movement and bounce to your hair.

Instructions

  1. 1

Choose the right type of jumbo hair rollers for your type of hair. For instance, Velcro rollers work best in thick hair and heated rollers work well in fine hair. Try plastic rollers with no heat for damaged hair.

  2. 2

Separate large sections of your hair with a comb. The larger the section, the more body you will create.

  3. 3

Roll the large section of hair under the roller, working from the ends of your hair to the top of your head. If you are using plastic jumbo rollers, use hair clips to hold the roller in place. Velcro and heated rollers are self-adhesive.

  4. 4

Mist each section of hair lightly with hairspray to creating lasting hold. If you are using Velcro or plastic rollers, use a hair dryer on a medium heat to set in the style.

  5. 5

Sleep with your jumbo rollers in for an easy wake-up-and-go look. Or, if you are using heated rollers, gently undo your rollers after the recommended heating time, usually 15 minutes. Heated jumbo rollers have varying warm-up times and temperatures, so be sure to check the instructions.
