How to Put Word Documents on Facebook

"Docs can be friendly too" says the Facebook Docs application. Using this app, Facebook users can create and share Microsoft Office documents with other Facebook account holders. The Facebook Docs program is based on the Microsoft Office 2010 program and offers users a simple way to work online that is already familiar to many.

    Uploading Existing Doc

    Access the Internet and log into your Facebook account using your e-mail address and password.

    Navigate to the "Docs on Facebook" page on Facebook.

    Click "Add a Doc," the fourth option from the left at the top of the page, to bring up a drop-down menu.

    Select "Upload a Doc" if you want to upload an existing document from your computer.

    Click the "Browse" button to view your computer documents and select the document you want to put on Facebook.

    Click "Open" when you locate the document you want to upload.

    Select the people who can view and edit your document. Options include individual friends, only you, all friends, specific groups or everyone.

    Leave the check mark in the box next to "Post to my Facebook Profile" if you want the doc link to appear on your wall. If you don't want it to appear on your wall, remove the check mark.

    Click "Upload" and wait while the document is uploaded to your Facebook profile. The document will be available for viewing and editing to anyone you specified following the upload.
