How to Replace the Magic Bullet Base Gear

The Magic Bullet is a food processing device that performs tasks such as blending frozen drinks, making pasta sauce, chopping fruits and vegetables or grinding coffee beans. The Magic Bullet is designed to handle hard-to-chop foods, but after long periods of use, the motor in the base gear can wear out. Homeland Housewares, the makers of the Magic Bullet, offers replacement parts for the device. Homeland Housewares can be contacted by phone or through an online customer support form.

    Go to, and click on "Customer Service."

    Fill out the information in the "Contact Homeland Housewares" box. Under the heading labelled "What is the nature of your request," choose "I need replacement parts." Click "Send" when finished.

    Call Homeland Housewares directly at 1-866-4HOMELAND if you do not wish to use the online form. On weekdays, customer service is available from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays, Eastern time.

    Replace the base gear by twisting the cross blade attachment on the blender pitcher then placing it on top of the new base. Twist the assembled blender clockwise until it locks on to the base.
