The iPod is a personal media player manufactured and marketed by Apple Inc. Current iPod models include the iPod Touch, iPod Classic, iPod Nano and iPod Shuffle. Although the iPod models offer different features and functions and operate slightly differently, all iPod models connect to stereo systems the same way. The Bose Lifestyle 38 is a 5.1 DVD surround sound home entertainment system. You can easily connect your iPod device to the Bose Lifestyle 38.

  • 3.5 millimetre Mini stereo RCA to adaptor cable

Instructions

  1. 1

    Attach the 3.5 millimetre end of the adaptor cable to the headphone jack on your iPod device.

  2. 2

    Adjust the volume on your iPod to less than half.

  3. 3

    Connect the other end of the adaptor cable to the Aux Input located in the rear of your Bose Lifestyle 38.

  4. 4

    Press the "Aux" button on the remote control for your Bose Lifestyle 38.

  5. 5

    Press play on your iPod.

  6. 6

    Adjust the volume on your Bose Lifestyle 38 to the desired listening level.
