How to repair a TS file

Updated March 23, 2017

Video Transport Stream (TS) is a video stream file format storing video data on a DVD. TS files compress the DVD video data using MPEG-2 compression. TS files are typically saved in multiples, such as "name1.ts" and "name2.ts." Video editing tools and software programs that support TS files can play these video files. If you have a damaged TS file, download FileCure to repair it.

Download, install and launch FileCure (see Resources).

Click "Start Scan" to start the analyse process for your TS files.

Click "Fix Now" to repair your TS files. FileCure creates a new TS file.
