Microsoft Image Writer is a printing driver that duplicates a document into a new file format using a virtual printer. Similar to a scan, this allows you to print web pages, papers, images and other options into a file that contains image data. The Microsoft Image Writer driver "prints" files in high resolutions with very high image quality. You can install the Microsoft Image Writer as a printer on Windows XP if you have Office 2003 or later.
