A great way to hide or change your identity on the Internet is through a proxy. Normally your computer connects to a website directly, revealing data such as your IP address, operating system, location, and other personal information. When you connect through a proxy, your computer connects to the proxy and the proxy information is revealed to the website instead of your personal information. There are a lot of proxies available for use on the Internet, and Charon Proxy is a program that checks proxies to make sure they're valid.
