The Siemens Gigaset SE567 is a residential wireless gateway that includes a DSL modem, a one- to four-port 10/100 Ethernet Switch and a built-in 802.11b wireless interface. This system will allow you and your family to hook up to your family network and access the Internet from almost anywhere in your home. To restrict access to approved users you should reset your administrator password to one known only by you and your family.

  1. 1

Switch on your computer. Open your Internet browser and type "" (without quotes) in the address bar. If the Gateway has already been installed it will ask you for a user name and password. The default user name is "admin" and the default password is either "telus" or "admin". You will have to reinstall your Siemens Gateway if someone has changed the user name and password and you don't know them. Installation methods vary depending on your operating system. See the Siemens SE567 user manual for more details (see Resources).

  2. 2

Click "Next" on the welcome screen. The Administrator Setup window will appear. Click on the "User Name" field and type in your new administrator account name.

  3. 3

Click on the "New Password" field and type in your new password. Click on the "Confirm Password" field and type your new password again. Click "Next".
