Netsweeper is a Web filtering program that allows you to block adult material including pornography, dangerous chats and adult games. It is especially designed to protect children from accessing objectionable material. In some cases, Netsweeper may block some of the websites you want to use. As long as you are the administrator for your computer, you can turn off/disable Netsweeper temporarily and allow unrestricted access to all websites.

    Click the "Start" menu, then click "Control Panel." Select "Classic View" and then click "Filter Settings." The "Enter Filtering Password" box launches.

    Type your Netsweeper password in the box and click "OK." The "Filter Settings" window launches.

    Uncheck the "Enable Filter" check-box. Close the "Filter Settings" dialogue box to save your changes. Netsweeper is disabled.
