If you have an iPhone that is giving you trouble installing an application (app), then there are two ways to fix this issue. One reason that apps may not be installing is because you device is running low on memory and you need to reset the device before installing a new app. The other reason may be because there was an error when the app was downloading into your device, to fix this you have to rest the installation process.

    Reset device

    Press and hold the "Home" button at the bottom of the iPhone and the "On/Off" switch at the top of the iPhone simultaneously for 10 seconds.

    Release the two buttons as soon as the iPhone shuts off and wait for the iPhone to restart.

    Press the "App Store" icon to go back to the App Store.

    Press the price icon at the top-right corner of the app description for the app you want to install and then press it again once it says "Install." You will not be charged a second time because the app did not install the first time.

    Reset installation

    Press and hold the icon for the app you are looking to install until all the app icons begin to shake and an X appears on the upper-left corner of all the apps in your iPhone.

    Press the X on the app you are having trouble installing to delete it from you iPhone.

    Press the "App Store" icon to go back to the App Store.

    Press the price icon at the top-right corner of the app description for the app you want to install and then press it again once it says "Install." You will not be charged a second time because the app did not install the first time.
