An ISO image file is a common CD and DVD disc image that is an exact duplicate of the original CD and DVD disc. ISO image files are useful for backup purposes since it is a virtual copy of the original CD and DVD disc. CD-ROM XA is a modified version of CD-ROM, which has two types of sectors enabling the ability to simultaneously read and display video, audio, data and graphics. You can burn an ISO in Mode 2 XA format by downloading Magic ISO Maker, a CD/DVD image file tool.
