Written by robmcclanahan | 13/05/2017

The BMW X3 is a luxury compact crossover SUV. It features a sporty design and a spacious cargo area, with up to 30 cubic feet of rear storage space. In most circumstances, the boot, or liftgate, can be opened by pressing the BMW emblem on the rear of the vehicle or a button on the remote control. However, if an electrical malfunction occurs, you have to open the boot manually from the inside the vehicle.

Lift up the floor cover in the cargo area of the boot.

Release the jack in the centre of the bracket.

Press the lever behind the cover to the left side. The liftgate will be released.
