"Midtown Madness 2" Won't Run in Windows XP

Many owners of Microsoft's "Midtown Madness 2" are disappointed to find that the game will not run on their Windows XP-equipped computers. Microsoft caught wind of the problem and released a free downloadable patch on its game website. Once the patch is executed, the small file automatically locates the "Midtown Madness 2" directory and patches the appropriate files. The patch also serves to fix graphics issues related to certain video cards.
