TomTom's ONE XL GPS device features built-in Bluetooth capabilities, so it can act as a speakerphone for a cell phone. In addition, some phones allow the TomTom to connect to services that receive traffic and GPS information from other TomTom XL devices, allowing you to see where your friends may be.

Tap the screen of your TomTom device.
Tap the Bluetooth icon in the screen that appears.
Tap "On" to activate Bluetooth on the GPS device.
Access your phone's Bluetooth settings using its menu, and click the option to search (or look) for devices.
Click the icon for the TomTom in the menu that appears on your phone.
Enter a four-digit passkey of your choice on your phone, then enter the same passkey on the TomTom when prompted to do so.
