- Replacement bulb
- Needle nose pliers
Unlatch the hood and connect the safety latch to keep the hood in place.
Disconnect the power cable that runs to the car's headlamp. This is located on the back of the headlight assembly.
Remove the clip located on the outside of the headlamp using a screwdriver or needle nose pliers.
Remove the headlight bulb. Turn the headlight bulb counter-clockwise until the three tabs securing the bulb line up. Using your hand, gently pull on the bulb to remove it from the headlight assembly.
Install the new headlight bulb. Line up the three tabs and turn the bulb clockwise to secure it.
Reconnect the clip on the outside of the headlamp. Reconnect the power cable to the back of the headlight assembly.
Test the headlight. Turn the headlights on to ensure proper installation.
