The Samsung SGH-T459 Strike is a quad-band Global Systems for Mobile Communications (GSM) cellular telephone that is sold by T-Mobile in the United States. The phone features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, voice dialling, a colour display and a 1-megapixel digital camera. The Samsung SGH-T459 is sold by T-Mobile with a pin or carrier lock. This lock prevents you from using the phone with another carrier's Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card. It is, however, possible to unlock your Samsung SGH-T459 for free so that you can use the phone on another cellular carrier's network.

Call T-Mobile customer service at 1-800-866-2453 and request the unlock code for your Samsung SGH-T459. It is T-Mobile's policy to provide you with the unlock code for your phone provided that you have an active account that is in good standing. Write down the unlock code for your Samsung SGH-T459.
Purchase a SIM card from another cellular service provider. Cellular service providers generally sell SIM cards online and at retail locations for post and prepaid accounts.
