When purchasing many new vehicles, such as a Chrysler, buyers are given the option to add extra features to their purchase. Such features may include a GPS navigation system that provides turn-by-turn directions, traffic and weather reports, Bluetooth connectivity and a points of interest database. Chrysler GPS systems use NAVTEQ maps to provide directions. NAVTEQ releases updates to its maps once per year, and these updates may be purchased through its online shop. After purchase, the update is sent to you on a DVD.
