How to Reset an Epson D68

Updated February 21, 2017

The Epson D68 is an inkjet colour printer compatible with both Apple and PC computers. The printer can print on regular paper, as well as glossy card stock for more professional, photograph-quality images. The D68 also prints transparencies. When the printer has a technical malfunction or runs out of ink, a warning light will flash, and the printer will stop functioning. Users can bypass this warning by resetting the printer.

Locate the "Stop," "Power" and "Maintenance" buttons on the top of the printer. The buttons are near the upright paper feed tray.

Press and hold all three buttons down at the same time.

Continue holding the buttons down until the printer's maintenance light stops flashing and the printer begins to restart. Release the buttons. When the printer turns back on, it should function properly.
