VMware ThinApp allows developers to package an application within a single file that contains a virtual operating system that loads and executes the program. The integration of the virtual operating system ensures the code can be run in a consistent and secure way that does not pose risk of malware to the machine that is running the file. ThinApp applications often supply status information via pop-up windows that can interrupt your application experience. You can completely disable these pop-ups by launching the ThinApp executable with a silent parameter.
