How do I Connect to a Panasonic TH-P42G10B TV Network?

The Panasonic TH-P42G10B Plasma TV can access the Internet through the "Viera Cast" networking technology. Connecting the TH-P42G10B to your wired home network is a straightforward procedure that can be accomplished within a few minutes using built-in set-up screens. The information needed about your home network will be automatically taken care of.

Plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the back of the Panasonic TH-P42G10B Plasma TV. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into a free Ethernet port on the router attached to the wired home network.

Plug the Panasonic's power cord into an AC socket for power. Turn on the Panasonic using the remote control.

Press the "Down" arrow on the remote until the "Wrench" icon is highlighted. Press the "Right" arrow on the remote to access the menus that have appeared to the right of the "Menu."

Press the "Down" arrow until "Network settings" is highlighted.

Check that "Wired network" is displayed beneath "Ethernet cable" on the new window that appears. Highlight "Connection test" at the top of the window. Press "OK" on the remote.

Wait as a series of checkboxes on a new window are filled in. Press "Return" on the remote once you see "Succeeded" appear on the window. Press the "Exit" button on the remote.
