How to Reset a Password on a Virgin Mobile Phone to Unlock

Updated March 23, 2017

If someone gains access into your Virgin Mobile phone, you will need to take the necessary steps to reset the password. Resetting the password on your mobile phone is essential for keeping the data in your device secured. With a strong password, hackers and thieves will not be able to unlock your device, thus rendering it useless. Although it can be a hassle to have to enter the password on your device before gaining entry, it is a necessary measure to take to protect your device.

Access the menu on your Virgin Mobile phone by pressing the three-dot button located on your phone's keypad.

Select "Settings" followed by "Security."

Enter your existing lock code or "0000" or the last four digits of your mobile phone number, when prompted.

Enter you new password, when prompted, followed by pressing the "OK" button.
