Windows Virtual PC is a virtualisation program developed by Microsoft. It allows you to run more than one version of the Microsoft Windows operating system on your computer. Because these systems run virtually, on top of the existing operating system, this set-up lets you test different configurations and install third-party software in a manner that cannot cause permanent damage to the operating system that powers your computer. By default, Virtual PC runs in full-screen mode. Whether you use the Windows or Mac operating system, toggling into window mode requires just a few clicks.
