How to Connect a PC to the Humax PVR-9200T

Updated February 21, 2017

The Humax PVR-9200T is a high-definition personal video recorder that captures television programs on a hard drive. Like any hard drive device, the Humax has a finite storage capacity. By hooking up the PVR to a PC or laptop, you can offload digital programming to the computer and delete files on the Humax PVR, opening hard drive space for recording new shows. The PC or laptop must be capable of capturing HD video through an HDMI (high definition media interface) socket.

Press the rocker switch on the back of the Humax PVR in the upper right corner to turn off the power.

Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the port on the back of the Humax PVR in the far left corner at the bottom of the unit.

Plug in the opposite end of the cable to a digital port on the back of your PC tower.

Turn on the computer and press the toggle switch on the back of the Humax to activate the PVR.
