The Garmin Quest is a Global Positioning Device(GPS) that allows users to pinpoint their exact location on a full-colour LCD map. This pocket-sized device allows users the flexibility of using it in a car or on foot. If your Garmin Quest has frozen or malfunctioned, you may need to perform a reset of the device. The process is simple and will allow you to quickly reboot the GPS back to full functionality.

    Locate the "Power" and "In" keys on the front face of your Garmin Quest. The "Power" button is located on the top left corner of the keypad and is the only key that is red. The "In" button is located on the left side of the keypad just below the "Out" button.

    Press and hold the "Power" button and "In" button at the same time until the Garmin Quest powers off.

  3. 3

    Turn the Garmin Quest back on again by pressing the "Power" button once. The unit is now completely reset.
