  1. 1

Load the JibJab website. This site offers users comical photographs and videos that can be personalised with the viewers' own photographs.

  2. 2

Click the "Videos" tabs to browse through the different options for videos. If you see a video in which you are interested, click the mini-video picture to preview the entire video.

  3. 3

Click the "personalize" button below the video of your choice. This process will open a new pop-up window that shows the main image of the video. A photo scroll line will be directly below the video image with an icon list of your photographs. If you do not have photos stored on the JibJab website already, you will need to add new ones.

  4. 4

Click "My heads" directly below the video image. This feature allows you to upload pictures from your computer or use pictures from a Facebook account. Select the option that is best for you.

  5. 5

Browse your photo collection, and select a photo that is a front view of your face. Use the "Zoom in/Zoom out" option to size your face onto the face template provided to you. Rotate your face slightly to match your eye line with the eye line provided.

  6. 6

Click "OK." Position dots and arrows around your face. These markers indicate the shape of your face and should be positioned as close to the actual outline as possible. Click "OK."

  7. 7

Position the mouth animator to your bottom lip. The arrows should line up to the sides of your mouth, and the top circle will be placed on the top centre of your bottom lip. Place the bottom circle on your chin line. Test the animation to ensure it opens and closes to your preference. Click "Save."

  8. 8

Add a head to your desired character by holding the mouse onto the head and dragging it onto the character.

  9. 9

Repeat Steps 5 to 7 with different photographs of friends and family. After all heads are added, click "Preview" to watch the video.
