Connect the Sony Ericsson MP3 phone to your computer through its USB adaptor.
Select "Media transfer" from the USB mode pop-up menu on the phone if prompted. Otherwise, your phone will automatically recognise the connection for USB mass-storage purposes.
Double-click the phone's memory card device icon in your computer's file manager. Doing so reveals its root directory.
Open the folder containing the music you wish to put onto the phone in a separate file manager window.
Drag and drop the music files or folders from their window into the phone's "Music" folder.
Right-click the phone's device icon and select "Eject" or "Safely Remove Device" to disconnect.
