Garmin's GPSMAP 60CX is a high-sensitivity global positioning system (GPS) unit that is designed for use while driving or exploring the great outdoors. The 60CX is different from most Garmin units because it offers users the option of loading new maps onto the system by purchasing microSD cards that come preloaded with maps. You can also download map updates for your 60CX from the Garmin website or purchase maps loaded onto a CD-ROM and transfer them from your computer via a USB connection.
