How to Do the Hanging Towel Method

Penis size is a subject many men are sensitive about. Companies make millions of dollars a year selling supplements, creams and other substances that promise to enlarge the size of a male erection for the purpose of sexual pleasure. Surgery is another option that some men turn to in the quest for a larger erection and many have tried strengthening their penis naturally with the hanging towel method. There is no strong evidence that the method actually works, but it is much safer than alternatives and is easy to do if you want to test it out for yourself.

Remove any undergarments so the penis can hang freely without restraint.

Arouse the penis into a full erect state.

Place a small towel on the head of the penis so that it hangs off the organ. The towel will function like a small weight.

Flex the pelvic muscles to cause the penis to lift against the weight of the towel. Perform 10 repetitions of this in three to five separate sets with a 30-second break between sets.

Tip

Avoid adding any further weight to your penis for this purpose. There is no real evidence the technique is effective and added weight is more likely to result in injury. Moisten the towel if you feel you need more resistance for better results.
