A long and relaxing shower can be ruined by stepping out of the shower stall and into a puddle of cold water. Prevent water from leaking and dripping past your shower curtain by installing suction cups and shower clips. Also consider placing a bathmat outside your bathtub that will absorb shower water and prevent you from slipping on a puddle.

Things you need
- Shower curtain
- Shower curtain liner with suction cups
- Shower curtain clips
Remove the adhesive backing to several shower clips.
Press the shower clips onto the clean and dry walls that are perpendicular to your shower curtain. Press one clip just a few inches above the top of the bathtub and the other clip just a few inches above that on either side. These clips will secure the sides of the shower curtain.
Let the shower curtain clips sit for several minutes until the adhesive is dry according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Hang the shower curtain liner inside the bathtub and the shower curtain outside the bathtub. This will prevent shower water from running down the liner and onto the bathroom floor.
Slide the sides of the shower curtain under the shower curtain clips.
Gently press the liner's suction cups when your shower curtain is in place. This will secure the bottom of the liner to the inside of the bathtub so that it does not allow the water to leak outside the shower.
Tips and warnings
- Use mould-resistant shower curtain liners if your bathroom is prone to mould. Replace or clean the liner when you begin to notice mould spores.
