Panasonic manufactures electronic devices, such as televisions, DVD players and cordless phones. If the cordless phone is not working, if the battery is not charging or if there are large amounts of static, resetting the phone can help correct the problem and should be the first step in troubleshooting. If the reset process does not fix your problem, contact the Panasonic Customer Support Help Desk at 800-211-PANA for further advice.
Unplug the power cord from the base. Remove the telephone line from the base.
Remove the battery cover from the back of the cordless handset. This can be done by sliding the cover downward, or pressing the release latch and pulling the cover outward, depending on the Panasonic cordless phone model.
Remove the battery pack from the phone by lifting it out of the battery bay. Leave everything disconnected for one minute.
Reinsert the battery pack. Place the battery cover over the battery bay.
Reinsert the telephone line and power cord into the base. The phone system has now been reset.
