How to manually remove a snapshot with vmware
You can get rid of any unused snapshots with VMware. (computer image by blaine stiger from Fotolia.com)

VMware software lets you operate virtual machines on your laptop or desktop. When you have this application, you can run other versions of your current operating system or a completely separate operating system. The VMware snapshot captures a previous state of your computer so if your software has an issue, you can use the VMware program to bring it back to an earlier point in time. When you no longer have a use for previous VMware snapshots, you can remove them from your computer.
