Lotus Notes is a collaborative, client-server software application designed and distributed by IBM. Users can access calendars, business e-mail and applications on an IBM Lotus Domino Server. The Lotus Notes program allows users the ability to access to applications on both their local computer as well as on a server. One of the dominating features of Lotus Notes is e-mail. Users interested in embedding special characters, including the trademark symbol, can do so by pressing the appropriate shortcut keys on the keyboard.

    Click inside your Lotus Notes e-mail where you wish to insert the trademark symbol.

    Press the "ALT" and "F1" keys simultaneously. Press the "T" and then "M" keys. The trademark symbol is inserted into your e-mail.
