Instructions

  1. 1

Open the NVIDIA Control Panel. Click "Start" and select "Control Panel." Switch to the "Large icons" or "Small icons" view in the top right of the window and then select "NVIDIA Control Panel." Alternatively you may be able to open the NVIDIA Control Panel by simply right-clicking on your desktop and choosing "NVIDIA Control Panel."

  2. 2

Expand the options for "3D Settings" in the left panel and select "Adjust image settings with preview." You will see a spinning NVIDIA logo with three options below it. The options are "Let the 3D application decide," "Use advanced 3D image settings" and "Use my performance emphasising."

  3. 3

Select "Use my performance emphasising" and adjust the slider to the left for the "Performance" setting. You can manually adjust the advanced settings but simply choosing "Performance" will adjust them optimally for you.

  4. 4

Click "File" and then "Exit" from the upper left toolbar to close the control panel. Start your game of World of Warcraft and you should immediately notice that the game runs smoother.
