The Pali Furniture Company makes children's furniture, including armoires, changing tables, dressers and cribs. The Pali Sabrina crib is a stationary side crib, which means that neither of the side rails drops down. It can be purchased online or at many baby furniture or general home retail stores. There are some standard safety instructions for the Pali Sabrina crib to maintain the appearance and safety of the crib, as improper use may result in injury or even death.

  1. 1

Check the crib following assembly to make sure that all bolts and screws are tightened properly and are not loose, which may make the crib less secure. Tighten if necessary. Check the bolts and nuts on a periodic basis.

  2. 2

Avoid using vapour, heat or moisture-based items, such as a humidifier, near the crib, as the moisture may damage the crib's finish and cause it to warp.

  3. 3

Avoid placing the crib near a window or near any decorative items that have long cords that the child could reach from the crib, as this poses a strangulation risk.

  4. 4

Do not place pillows, blankets, or other soft material in the crib that could be considered a suffocation hazard.

  5. 5

Use a crib mattress that measures at least 27 and 1/4 inches by 51 and 5/8 inches, with a thickness that is no deeper than 6 inches. Crib mattresses that are not an appropriate size can result in a risk of injury or suffocation.

  6. 6

Move the crib mattress down to the lowest position once the child is able to stand in the crib. Remove all blankets, stuffed animals, bumpers or any other items that the child could use to stand on, as this could result in a fall from the crib.

  7. 7

Cease using the crib when the child is 35 inches in height or more.
