The Adobe suite of products includes such popular software programs as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Flash, and Acrobat. When you purchase these products you're given a serial number that allows you to use and register the program on your computer. If you lose the serial number, you have a few options for retrieving it.

Load the Adobe program and immediately press "CTRL + Prnt Scrn" to take a screen shot of the loading display box.

  2. 2

Load a word processing document or image editing program and create a new blank document.

  3. 3

Click "CTRL + V" to paste the screenshot into a blank document for viewing. The serial number is displayed at the bottom of the box in some Adobe programs.

Click "View Product Registrations" under the "Your Account" menu.

  3. 3

Enter your login information again if prompted. Your serial number for all Adobe products you've purchased is listed on the registrations page.

Navigate to the "Start" menu and then open the "Run" dialogue box. Type "regedit" into the Run dialogue box and click "OK" to open the Registry Editor.
