How to Reset a Sony Ericsson Bluetooth Headset

If the connection with your Sony Ericsson Bluetooth headset fails or isn't working properly, you should try resetting the device. Most of the headset's commands are given through the "call handling" button, a small, circular button near the centre of the headset body. The indicator light is part of the call handling button.

    Press and hold the call handling button until you hear a short, high tone then a short, low tone. The headset's indicator light will then turn off.

    Press and hold the call handling button until the headset plays a short, low tone followed by a short, high tone. The indicator light should flash green.

    Re-pair the headset with your phone or other device. Place the headset in discovery mode by holding the call handling key for 10 seconds, until the headset's indicator light flashes red and green. Follow the instructions on your phone or other device for adding or pairing a Bluetooth headset.
