Recycling toner cartridges is an important part of caring for the environment. Samsung has a program specifically for recycling their own cartridges. The benefit of recycling directly with Samsung is that they're best able to reuse the maximum number of components from the cartridges. They break the cartridge down into its basic components, and reuses them or sells them for reuse.

Go to Samsung's recycling program website to print your free shipping label (see Resources). Under "Register and request SmartLabel" midway down the page, enter your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number (only the first two will print on your label). Click "Submit & Print Label" and wait for the label to print.
Put the toner cartridge either in the original packaging it came in, or another box of similar size. Tape the printed label to the box.
Take the box to your local USPS and mail if from there. The box will be too big to fit in a regular USPS mailbox.
