While it is possible to use information from a PowerPoint presentation in a term paper, it is important to remember to cite it so as to avoid plagiarising the person who originally made the presentation. The correct format for citing a PowerPoint presentation in a list of references will depend on whether you are using American Psychological Association (APA) or Modern Language Association (MLA) format.
