Label machines commonly are used in supermarkets or smaller stores to price items. They also have many personal uses such as for marking items for garage sales and other events. The Monarch Paxar 1131 has a large label capacity and offers five different print arrangements. The machine holds 2,500 labels at a time, so you only have to reload every once in a while. Reloading the labels only takes a few steps.

Hold the Paxar and pull the latches back and open the cover. You will hear a click. Tear off the first 10 inches of the labels and liner.
Insert the new label roll in-between the holders. Position the label supply in the centre over the peel bar across the length of the machine. Close the cover.
Hold the machine upside down and depress the trigger. Gently feed the new label strip over the roller into the larger slot.
Hold the strip in place while squeezing the trigger 8 to 10 times until the labels have fed through the rear of the machine. The machine is now loaded and ready for use.
