How to Turn Off a Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone

Updated July 20, 2017

The Sony Ericsson Walkman phone combines the iconic Walkman personal audio brand with Ericcson's cell phone technology, creating a music-oriented phone. Walkman phones boast dedicated media controls as well as a Walkman-branded music player capable of playing MP3s and other audio file formats. Most Walkman phones also have a camera and are based around the chocolate bar, flip or slide-phone forms. Many can take additional flash memory cards, like the M2 memory stick, to increase their media-carrying capacity.

Locate the "Call End/Power" button, normally situated on the right hand side of the phone.

Hold the "Call End/Power" button until the screen shows a powering down animation.

Watch the animation end and the screen turn off to confirm the device is switched off.
