The Acer Aspire 7720 laptop computer comes pre-installed with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. If you want to restore your Acer Aspire, use the Windows Vista System Restore feature. System Restore allows you to undo changes made to your computer without affecting the program files you have stored on your computer's hard drive.

    Click the "Start" button and select "All Programs."

    Click "System Tools."

    Click "System Restore."

    Click "Recommended Restore" to restore the computer to undo the most recent changes made to it. Click "Choose a different restore point" to restore the computer to an earlier date. Click "Next."

    Choose a date to which you want to restore the computer. This step only applies to those who click "Choose a different restore point" in the previous step.

  7. 7

    Click "Finish." System Restore will restore your Acer Aspire 7720 and restart.
